I. General

This blog will be between low to medium activity with dark themes present including war, violence, death, etc.

I will tag as any spoilers as I can, but it is not spoiler free and will act on whatever is revealed in the main story of WUTHERING WAVES + some theories that go on about the overall lore and Rover's identity.

I expect basic RP etiquette and will do the same.

I've been on tumblr rp for a while but am just returning now. I'm behind on the terminology now used so please be patient if I don't get something right away. I will be just doing basic formatting when writing.

I want to just write so I won't be paying attention to drama.

I go by Aki and Mun & Muse are 25+.

II. Writing

Each interaction will be its own and not collide with others unless talked about beforehand with both parties.

I'd like to focus on Wuthering Waves verse itself so I will be following canon first and foremost. I don't mind divergencies as long as its nothing major/world changing.

This blog is multi-ship and ships will be built on chemistry and interactions.

I prefer multi-para but don't mind one-liners and short interactions. I like plotting but also don't mind a thread started from an inbox meme, etc. In general, I'm cool with anything.

Feel free to send any memes no matter how old they are! I'll find them eventually.

I play a lot of gacha/anime games so I'm more than happy to create a verse for crossovers.

I don't have any real triggers and will tag the usual ones accordingly if I reblog something that falls under it. (Most likely not though)

If I follow then I would like to interact at some point. I will unfollow though if no activity between us occurs but will try and reach out when I feel confidant enough too.

arista was born the oldest of the mckinnon twins - barely, but it counts, which she gladly reminds alanis of every chance she gets. the mckinnon's, since their tragic almost demise back before the first war ended, had become well-versed in infiltrating death eaters throughout the years, that by the time arista and alanis were born, there were already a few aunts and uncles embedded deep within the ranks of death eaters. could not tell you who they are though.

she was generally a soft girl, at least arista let everyone perceive her that way, it was easier to do what was expected of her than argue with her parents; even if half the time arista wanted to scream obscenities at the world and watch it burn. 

because of their skills in espionage and infiltration, the mckinnon's were considered fundamental to the order's foundation once going underground and it's remained that way ever since. while not well known; the deaths of her parents and brother at some point in her life had been a devastating blow, three deaths arista still carries around with her to this day. 

was sent into hogwarts with lorcan and her twin alanis to gather information through the children of prominent leaders in the death eater circle, arista always being one step ahead, had gained the attention of one certain blonde haired malfoy despite having loyalties to the other order aligned children in hogwarts ; with none other than her fast-paced wit and snappy attitude. fr she had no trouble calling out his ass for being wrong. 

at some point in her duration at hogwarts, it seemed her part of the infiltration plan had worked ; arista was slowly but surely feeding back tidbits of information back to the order, no matter how little it seemed. it seemed like their plan was working a little too well, perhaps. 

what wasn’t part of the plan was arista slowly pulling away from her twin sister and her best friend ; the two other people vital in their mission to succeed, however arista would constantly assure them that she was still theirs. arista wouldn’t ever leave her family - not after her parents death. right? 

after graduation, the friends and family arista had left behind were expecting her to come back, and yet she had stayed behind due to her being deeply undercover with scorpius’ and his friends - and in merlin’s sick twisted mind ; they had become her friends too. by this point arista was used to playing the best of both sides, growing comfortable in the way she teetered along the edge of good and evil.

studied potions extensively. is quite a natural at brewing and concocting new potions ; arista had to be good at something to be noticed. she's more known for her psychedelic potions, only known to those who need to know.

since graduation arista’s slowly been making her mark within the death eaters, but not enough so that her name would arouse suspicion within the order; arista still relays information… that’s been seemingly lackluster lately, but she’s still helping, right? anything for the order, right?

This plays out in a modern setting in Japan, where various demons and creatures from all layers of hell roam the world of the living. The ancient knowledge of yokai and ways to fight them is mostly forgotten in this society, but passed down from generation to generation among hunters. These hunters risk their lives and live at the edge of society, to rid the world from abominations.

The InoShikaCho name is well known among hunters and demons alike - 16 generation of the group survived this far, with Ino, Shikamaru and Chouji as active hunters at the moment.

chouji is the one who usually drives the car, it’s ino’s pivilege to pick the music, shikamaru doesn’t really care what’s going on at the front seats while he’s napping tbh

they all do research together, but shikamaru is the one coming up with a strategy in the end

chouji couldn’t bring himself to kill posessed people at first, and still has a hard time, so ino takes this over without hesitation

in-world information ...

lived on the tri-cluster of sky islands known as ; Helio, Nyx, and Hesper. the largest of which was Helio which was orbited by Nyx and Hesper. the two smaller islands were constantly but slowly moved by a wind that caused them to orbit the larger. ( though the system is much smaller in comparison to skypeia).

these islands raise sky dragons that they regard as pets and working animals. one of their special abilities is to turn invisible and to camouflage themselves when endangered.

luna was raised on Helio, where the leaders of the sky islands reside. she's the third princess of the quetzal family.

due to folklore and stories passed down, they feared the world below. the rulers' children (luna and her sisters) were forbidden to ever step foot off any of the islands to visit the world below.

luna, however, the most adventurous amongst her sisters visits the world below when she's 16 years old. there, she meets various characters and is fascinated by the islands she finds.

however, she's caught leaving one evening and is forbidden by her mother and father to leave. it's their own fear that keeps their kingdom secret and why they forbid everyone from visiting the world below. most of all, there is a darker and deeper secret in connection with the D. that dots luna's name, inherited not by either of her parents but by her grandmother, who had been an inheritor of the name.

helio houses a poneglyph in a room in the lowest level of the royal castle. information etched upon this poneglyph is tbd.

at the age of 21, however, she is given her role in the family to lead the sky island armies. she is dubbed a warrior princess.

#1 toons who are watching interfering with the race. if any of the bystanders/bidders try to get their toon to win she WILL shut them down right then and there even if she is racing during such times.

BACKGROUND: caroline comes from post the events of vampire diaries, the originals, and legacies. she had just taken back control over the school she opened for her daughters and other young supernatural kids.

WEAPONS: n/a

POWERS/ABILITIES/SKILLS: as a vampire, caroline has vastly increased strength, speed, and healing. she can control most human minds with compulsion (will always ask player permission in rp). she has standard vampire fangs, though not always extended and visible. obviously, she also survives on blood.

GREATEST STRENGTH: physically, caroline has great control over her vampire side and is often able to use it to her advantage. mentally, she has an unfathomable amount of determination for her goals.

GREATEST WEAKNESS/FLAW: physically, being a vampire makes her vulnerable to sunlight and an herb called vervain that would burn her if in contact. mentally, caroline’s struggled with insecurities since she was a child, and while she’s grown and overcome a great deal of them, she still has moments where it can get the best of her.

Today, it's all about magic systems.

Long post ahead!!

Disclaimer! I'm still actively working on the intricacies of the TBA (oh that's a coincidental acronym 😂 maybe I stick with Saafa-verse like I did for so long...) magic system, so there will be some gaps, specifically once we get past the overarching idea.

First up! Some basic questions. You know what, why not make this interview-style, for flavor? Extra fun writing this.

First off, what are magic users called

All magic users are called witches, regardless of gender!

Who can use magic? How is magic given out or decided?

Magic isn't a genetic ability, or something gifted by a higher being. It's all learned! So anyone can use magic, but not everyone does. It's just like writing, for example; everyone can theoretically do writing, but not everyone chooses to pursue it.

What are the views on magic in this world?

Good question, Me! That largely depends on which country you're in, and who you're around. N'Gomo is entirely open to magic, while Ljosavatn (new, smoother name soon) has laws that make magic punishable by death. This is actually an important part of the plot.

Is all magic the same?

Definitely not! There are multiple types of magics a witch can focus on learning, but they arent limited to one type, either. This is the part that is actively in the works, but a few types of possible magic focuses are Necromatic magic, Healing magic, and Rift magic (ooh, mysterious). So far, there are main of supporting characters with focuses in each of these magic categories?

You mentioned focuses earlier, can you elaborate on that?

Woo, yes!! Since my magic system isn't one thing, but has different parts that make up a whole, I wanted a way to differentiate those kinds of magics and the witches who use them. The author Leigh Bardugo, for example, has different kinds of magic categories in her books, with cool conlang names for each one, Similarly to how the ATLA world has the four element types for their benders.

I wanted something like that, but also wanted to make sure my own version was unique, and focuses came to mind and fit super well! Plus, the word "focus" already has some magic connotation for us D&D nerds (a focus is an item with which a magic user channels their spells through, like a wand or a staff).

Anything else?

Yes! Focus isnt a total alternative to calling someone a Witch, as the scenarios for each would be different. If someone asks a Witch if they're a Witch, they would say they're just a Witch or that they're a [insert focus] Witch.

Ex:

"You. You're a Witch, yes?"

"Yes, ma'am, a Necromantic Witch."

If someone was asking what their focus is specifically, they would generally say they're a [insert focus] focus, since the Witch part is already heavily implied.

Ex:

"What's your focus? I never asked."

"Oh, I'm a Necromantic focus."

"Rift focus, myself. I do dabble in Healing, as well."

It's just another word to add some interest to a possibly plain term, and a way to maybe have some breaks from the word "witch," lol.

annie star wars verses

tree house verse: jack and annie travel to the star wars universe ( an alternate universe from their own ) through the tree house. where in the timeline they arrive is up to who i’m writing with. their general mission is to help the resistance (and bring back a kyber crystal for camelot, though that is honestly secondary and just the ‘reason’ they were sent there.) you might say to yourself: why did merlin and morgana send two children into this dangerous area? because merlin and morgana clearly haven’t had a normal idea since they started sending jack and annie on these missions. annie is definitely force sensitive but just thinks it’s a cool thing that happens on this planet. 

alternate universe: jack and annie were born on one of the worlds ( tba but possibly chandrila or takodana ) whose parents work a lot - their father owns a diner and their mother is a medic. both are force sensitive, though annie wildly more than jack. they’re pretty well off financially. while their parents were at work the children found an abandoned space craft in the woods that jack learned to fly. though they generally don’t go off world until they’re a bit older (jack about 12, annie about 10) the space craft is a secret from both of their parents. annie named the ship ‘the treehouse’.

It’s transparently clear to see that one deity was weary around the other, and yet Rosalia can’t quite blame him. As an outsider seeking knowledge that could be used for her own plight, there wasn’t any wonder if some may believe that she would do anything to find she she sought for. She was honorable, but how was at least this one kai supposed to believe it? All the same, they still do share many conversations from time to time, though for his sake, the Guardian have decided to allow Shin to set the boundaries.

As polite as he is though, she had already found that he has a wicked sense of humor that would rise up time and again.

Perhaps it’s due to the very fact that she’s a young mortal who generally wears her heart on her sleeve that makes it easy for the Supreme Kai to take a liking to her. Or perhaps he’s used to looking out for the kind-hearted mortals, but nevertheless, he’s found himself a little friend who simply adores him no matter how much trauma he’s been through. Even when he and the girl’s foster mother may not be entirely at ease with each other, Rosalia had entrusted the girl’s safety to his care in one time or another, which may be a lot more saying than he would truly realize.

An encounter that would make Rosalia realize that even simple terms can mean very different things. Whis was someone that she’s never really encountered before, a force of higher powers that takes special delight in the more mundane things such as mortal food. Easily intimidated by him even though she did her best to not show it, she was nonetheless curious about him. As powerful as he was, he was so much different from others she had ever known, and no matter the times that he had often made her feel like a fool just to simply see how she’d react, she lightened up around him.

Just unfortunately for her, she found herself drawn to him in another way, one in which she couldn’t begin to guess his thoughts when she eventually had confessed of them (more like coerced into it, but who’s keeping record?). For the meantime, she decided to let things be.

An reincarnated god whom Rosalia had met on her travels, the two beings had come a long way since that first time they’ve met and had lunch together. The Guardian had been able to open up to him about the kind of life she’s had, as well as the odd predicaments that made her hesitant to mention aloud. However, she had come to trust the man very much, glad for his ever strong presence as well as being able to be close to someone that understood her due to his own experiences. While she may worry about dragging him into her ever constant struggles, Rosalia felt all the stronger to have him.

The father of Bowen, Atlas, the previous reincarnated god who held ambitions to shape the world and reality the way he wanted it after all that he went through in his life. From since the first time they met, the outcast Burmecian who wielded incredible magical powers of the elements had felt drawn to the wayward traveler, who in turn felt the same pull. She was intrigued enough to agree to his want to learn how to wield nature the way she can, though in honesty she had never expected him to grasp the ability. Not only had he surprised her even though it took a long time to truly use this magic, this role of mentor and student had changed and grew to become closer than that. When a night of an incredibly awkward dream led to the both of them to realize their affections, they have since then learned more about one another and their lives. Sceada, too, had taken a shine to the young girl that traveled with the Guardian, Hikaru, making the relationship all the sweeter. Even his acceptance of Thornara had taken the sting of her own existence to be something more dull, bearable.

Things certainly changed from the first attempt to use her connection to the Rift to return home, after her abilities had been sealed away for some time. Meeting Discord in his realm and forced to entertain him with his ‘games’ until he felt obliged enough to return her back to where she started, he had continued to see her even afterwards. At first, she had been mistrustful towards him; after all, she have had to endure his games that made her doubt whether he’d keep his word. But that cool demeanor had gradually melted, and the truly opposite beings had started seeing each other in a different light.

It seems that even after his long absence, the feelings hadn’t diminished. Rosalia knew how it was to be an immortal, in need to be alone. But what exactly drew him to do this? Perhaps she’ll learn in time.

Kibitoshin & Rosalia (Friends☰Crush) [Main Verse] @kibitoshinn​ .⋇ship verse;;TBA

What she knows of the Supreme Kai was that he was perhaps one of the most kind-hearted beings she had come across, eager to learn and had been more than happy to have her company. It wasn’t hard for her to feel at ease with him despite her more cautious nature where past experiences would tell her to be weary around him otherwise. While she shared some details about her reality and even spoke in greater lengths about the ones she serves with and for, she hadn’t been entirely eager to share her troubles to someone who seemingly didn’t need to see the darkness she saw on her horizon.

The general topics they spoke about otherwise were of their common love of creatures and flora, and on occasion about their duties.

Fenn & Rosalia (Friends☰Growing Crush) [Main Verse] @destinedreturn​ .⋇ship verse;;TBA

Meeting in the wilderness was probably less surprising for the traveling Guardian than it was for the man that struggled to learn even the most basics of knowledge, the need to stay away from the general populace (though most likely for different reasons) already a common ground. Perhaps due to their natural quiet natures, the two have been quick to befriend one another than Rosalia at least was used to. Because of her patience and the want to help him with his thirst for knowledge, the Guardian had often turned up to assist him without personal gain.

She's realized at some point that she was looked to as a kind of guide, someone to look up to, much to her slight discomfort. In her point of view, she had only gained this wisdom from many, many mistakes, and she wished that she could figure out how to word it as such.

Often the two had shared moments of not only learning, but other activities such as plants trees for the sake of it, which had come to be rather fond memories.

When Fenn introduced her to an counterpart of his own self from another reality, the one who still held the name that Fenn himself had cast aside in favor of making his own identity, Rosalia had immediately agreed that if he were to ever need help, she would be more than glad to offer it. The vast differences between the two people that are, in truth, all in the same except for their circumstances makes her wonder much more about Fenn and Broly.

Broly & Thornara (Hunting Buddies) [Main Verse] @destinedreturn​ .⋇ship verse;;TBA

They weren't really conversationalists, and that was something that probably drew Thornara's attention the most. The first time they met was nothing but odd, the female having simply picked him up after deciding that he was going to go hunting with her. She found that she can stand his company because he doesn't often ask questions... and simply accepted her at face value.

This friendship was forged by a shared hunt, and likely the two would do it more often, especially when they both have companions that cannot stand the act of it.

Roh & Rosalia (Acquaintances☰Friendly?) [Main Verse] @eatinqrow​ .⋇ship verse;;TBA

An unlikely (friendship?) that could ever be. With a sharp tongue with brash words to make most people reel, and even harder to want to befriend him, it's a surprise that she's known him for well over a year at this point and still entertains conversations with him. He's intelligent, and deep down, she can tell that he had great care for his universe's mortals, something that she found to be exceptionally rare among any deities she's encountered.

If she could withstand his suspicions or harsh critiques for each conversation, she oftentimes learns something from them. But there are times that it's too much for someone like her.

Mojito & Rosalia (Recent Acquaintances☰Friendly) [Main Verse] @mojitoangel​ .⋇Ship Verse;:TBA

A chance encounter, literally bumping into him, this was when Rosalia had met sir Mojito. There was little known about him other than he was a sibling to Kus and many other angels. Thus far with her impression, he was polite and had a sense of humor that was a touch cold at times. Perhaps things would be learned more of one another the next they meet.

Lore & Rosalia (Acquaintances☰Friendly) [Main Verse] @positronicoverlore​ .⋇ship verse;;TBA

A large number of years had passed since the last she's visited the realm that held Earth; it was enough where when she took a visit at an impulse, she thought that she was entirely mistaken. Technology was hardly her friend, and this reality was simply bursting with it -- including a man that was, in truth, an android (a walking computer that may have emotions, as she's come to think of them).

Lore was a... curious being. Polite at least to her face, she's noticed a few moodswings when certain topics came up, but thus far he hadn't even attempted to take any hostile feelings out towards her. She found his company to be pleasant for the most part, and he was certainly interesting. At this time, she hadn't revealed to him that she couldn't take offense to his occasional sharp barbs at mortals because she simply wasn't one herself.

Ramza & Roaslia (Getting Close☰Slight Crush) [Main Verse] @brave-squire​ .⋇ship verse;;Zodiacs and Aspects

A chance encounter that wouldn't have happened if it hadn't been for the Rift plucking this squire from his world, pulling him to the universe Eldria and unceremoniously leaving him on one of its many worlds. From a word from Fayte that there was something unusual to be found on the very world, Rosalia had come to meet the brave man as she was scouting one of the settlements, unaware of what precisely to look for until she heard his story.

Vowing that she would help him return home, the Guardian spends quite a bit of spare time with him when he welcomed her company. Sharing bits of themselves with one another, she would admit that she rather admired how he looked to life -- unaware, though, to the plight that troubles his thoughts and dreams.

Zen & Rosalia (Mentor/Student☰Mild Crush) [DBZ/S Verse] @drxgons-fists​ .⋇ship verse;;Boundless Time

A mission accidentally included in, the traveling Ixali had come to meet Zen, a warrior that goes onto such missions for the clear goal of keeping them from altering time. Met as a disguised being with the appearance of a human, Rosalia and Zen had worked together to defeat his adversary together, working better than perhaps either expected. This battle would begin their friendship, especially when the Ixali expressed interest in Ki, even though she had demonstrated capabilities the Saiyan hadn't seen before.

Only recently had he come to learn that she was not what she seemed; but the secret was accepted with much more easily than Rosa would have ever dared; her limited interactions with outside races aside from the ones that are resident in her galaxy had never prepared her for more than open hostility. This caused her to become more at ease with Zen than she would ever believe.

Hytherm & Rosalia (Acquaintances☰Friendly) [Main Verse] @snowfxlling​ .⋇ship verse;;TBA

Sometimes first impressions were the most everlasting with interactions, but in this case, it may be good that it wouldn't be the only basis of judgement for either the Icejin or the Guardian, especially when it was mildly aggressive. Now that they are past that initial reaction, Rosalia can see that Hytherm could be good company, even though he is very withdrawn and prone to only show emotions when something small and vulnerable were present, such as the child Hikaru or even the occasional random cat. Before the unstoppable force of the Harbingers met this seemingly innocent angel, Zikom was the kind of person that barely thought more ahead than where the next blow should land, never bothered to question how he lived his life. And it still was a struggle even now, only being prone to giving it more thought when Kus asked him questions he didn't have an immediate answer to. At the start, Zikom had thought her to be pretty annoying, not used to someone who lacked fear in general in the face of him and instead poked fun at him that, with anyone else, would have been met with being turned to paste. Yet he could feel that there was something amiss about her, making him rather wary about acting out on those impulses. And in all honesty, he had grown to like having someone that wasn't one of his fellow Harbingers. Someone who didn't treat him like he was a walking tool to the end goal.

While he's still getting used to the concept of a friend that would gain nothing but his company, he finds that he was beginning to grow accustomed to her 'pestering', inquiring what he thought of something. She's learned a few things already, some terrible, but others? In her words, he was adorable, liking how a kiss felt but having a far harder time to expression affection that meant much more to him by the seemingly simple act of nuzzling.

These two beings, whom Rosalia thought would be at best to be the case of Desire bugging Kus, would end up being very friendly with one another. Oftentimes, they have had deep intellectual conversations, once about the number of stars and worlds one galaxy may hold, much less how many galaxies would be contained in one universe. And for someone like Desire, she rather enjoys this a lot; while she fully embraced exactly what she was, it didn't mean that she wouldn't want to be something a little more every once in awhile.

Though as much enjoyment as she'd get from chats, it wouldn't stop attractions from mutually emerging, of course.

Withdrawn. Mostly to protect her brother, Sayuri keeps their personal life very private. She’s become almost a mythic figure, limiting her public appearances and leading a quiet life apart from her passion projects. This extends to her interpersonal style. She’s cool and aloof, although she can be quite amiable and dynamic when she needs to be.

Self-Centered. While she is genuinely trying to do the right thing, Sayuri is her own worst enemy in this. Even when she thinks she’s being selfless it’s for the sake of her own ego. She has to take care of her people because her self-worth is at stake.

Resolute. If Sayuri has made up her mind to accomplish something, she can’t be stopped, whether it’s winning a game or winning a real-life battle.
